Display apparatus

Abstract

The display apparatus includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels each including a plurality of subpixels, SP1-3, that emit light of different colours (e.g. Red Green and Blue) and a power supply which supplies a plurality of driving voltages through a plurality of power lines, lx1, ly1 etc., connected to the plurality of subpixels. The plurality of power lines include mesh structure lines electrically disconnected from one another, and the plurality of driving voltage have different levels which may be based on a saturation voltage of a driving transistor associated with each of the sub-pixels (Figures 4(a) & 4(b).) The mesh structure for each of the power lines may be connected to its respective sub-pixel and may comprise a plurality of parallel horizontal lines, lx1, lx2, lx3, and a plurality of vertical lines, ly1, ly2, ly3, the horizontal and vertical lines for a given sub-pixel being electrically connected to each other. The horizontal and vertical lines for a given sub-pixel may be electrically insulated from the horizonal and vertical lines for the other sub-pixels. The horizontal and vertical lines for a given sub-pixel may be disposed on different layers (e.g. second and third planarisation layers 320, 330.) [Figure 5]
