Pharmaceutical effervescent composition of new generation antidepressants

Abstract

The invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions of antidepressant substances, which compositions are in the form a) effervescent tablets or b) effervescent granules or powder or c) orodispersible tablets, where the antidepressant substance is either i) a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) chosen among escitalopram, citalopram, sertraline, paroxetine, fluvoxamine, etoperidone or apharmaceutically acceptable form thereof, or ii) a selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) chosen among duloxetine and venlafaxine or a pharmaceutically acceptable form thereof.
