Premanufactured modular low-depth foundation system for vertical rotating vehicle parking systems

Abstract

The present invention relates to a pre-fabricated, modular low?depth foundation system for vertical rotating vehicle parking systems [1], suitable for urban or constrained sites where extensive conventional foundations are not feasible. The foundation consists of four pre-manufactured reinforced concrete sections [2,3], which are transported independently and assembled on site, being connectable via a mechanical fastening mechanism with metal plates, pins, and wedges [8], to form a unified, monolithic, and statically cooperating main shoe [4]. The upper anchoring area [7] is geometrically identical to the plan view of the superstructure, achieving a limited footprint and controlled transfer of static, dynamic, and seismic loads to the ground. Internally, an engaging socket [11] is configured for the embossed bowl [12]. Interlinking points [10] are also provided so that multiple foundations can be linked and operate as a single system in an array arrangement. Thanks to the low depth [9], excavation is reduced, installation is accelerated, and application becomes possible even on grounds with infrastructure or underground network restrictions.
