Abstract

The present invention relates to compositions for the prevention or treatment of dental, gingival and / or oral cavity diseases, wherein the composition contains chlorhexidine in an amount from 0.12 to 0.2% w / w per formulation and one or more peroxides that decompose to active oxygen, preferably hydrogen peroxide and / or carbamide peroxide and / or calcium peroxide, wherein the hydrogen peroxide is present in an amount from 0.8 to 1% w / w per formulation, and the composition is in the form of a mouthwash, toothpaste, gel, oral drops, oral foam or spray.
