Abstract
The invention relates to a color sorting machine for olive fruit of the Calamon type, comprising a main transport and sorting mechanism (1) with rotating cylinders (2) having specially shaped notches (2.2), a fruit storage silo (4), a jointed elevator (5), a uniform dispersion conveyor (6), an optical detection arrangement (8) with a parabolic reflector (9) and a smart camera (10), a distance measuring mechanism (14) with a measuring disc (14.1) and a photocell (14.3), and a pneumatic rejection mechanism (12) for the sorted fruit which are conducted via a chute (13) into a collection receptacle (13.4). The invention provides an easy, flexible, high?quality, and economical method for sorting Calamon, type olive fruit, for further processing and final packaging.
