Abstract

The invention relates to a system for facilitating the access of a wheelchair (1) into a vehicle (9), which comprises a rotating platform mounted on a support base that is secured to the floor (8) of the vehicle (9). The platform incorporates a controlled rotation and positioning mechanism for the wheelchair (1) within the vehicle (9). The system also includes a removable cover (47) with guides (48), on which a seat (57) can be placed for use by an able-bodied driver, a three-point seat belt carrier (53), and a foldable ramp (49), which allow safe entry and stabilization of the wheelchair (1) and the user in the vehicle (9). The device permits ergonomic and controlled access of the user into the vehicle (9), reducing the required physical effort during transfer.
