Abstract

A cosmetic case for containing at least one pouch. The case includes a base having a front portion and a back portion and an outer surface wall extending from a bottom member to form an interior hollow section. A lid is hingedly connected to the base. A bottom insert is positioned within the hollow section and secured to the bottom member. A removable body insert secured within the base has a lower section and an angled upper section connected by a side section with a plurality of passageways for removable cosmetic pouches. An inner cap secured within the lid includes a recessed cavity and a keep closed or allow open closure mechanism. A gap defined in the front of the case facilitates opening the lid.

The cosmetic case for accommodating at least one pouch according to claim 1, wherein the removable body insert is removably secured within the base by further comprising a bottom insert magnet and a lower body insert magnet, the bottom insert magnet being secured within a recessed section along the inner portion of the flat top of the bottom insert, and the lower body insert magnet being secured within a body insert recess along the lower side of the lower section of the body insert, such that the bottom insert magnet attracts the lower body insert magnet to secure the two together.4. A cosmetic case for accommodating at least one pouch, comprising: a base having a front portion and a rear portion, extending from a bottom member to define an outer wall of an internal hollow section; a lid hinged to the base; a bottom insert positioned within the internal hollow section and secured to the bottom member by a pair of diametrically extending end flanges and a pair of vertically extending side posts, wherein the bottom insert has a pair of diametrically opposed hooks engaging the end flanges and a recess for receiving the side posts, the bottom insert further comprising a bottom insert magnet secured within a recessed section along an internal portion of a flat top of the bottom insert; and a removable body insert secured within the base, having a lower section and an inclined upper section connected by side sections, and having a channel for a removable cosmetic pouch and a lower body insert magnet secured within a body insert recess positioned along the underside of the lower section of the body insert. The bottom insert magnet attracts the lower magnet of the body insert to secure the body insert within the base; an inner cap, within the cover, having a cavity defined by the inner cap's surface wall and a closure mechanism for keeping the cover closed or allowing the cover to open, the closure mechanism including an inner cap magnet positioned within an outer portion of the front surface of the inner cap and a body insert magnet positioned within an upper portion of the removable body insert, the body insert magnet being configured to attract the inner cap magnet when the cover is moved to the closed position; and a gap at the front of the box between the cover and the base to facilitate opening the cover. 10. The inner cap magnet and the upper magnet of the body insert magnetically attract each other to secure the box in a closed configuration; and the lower magnet of the body insert and the bottom insert magnet magnetically attract each other to secure the body insert within the base. 16.
