Description
Abstract This invention relates to modulators of complement activity, and more particularly, to peptide modulators of complement activity, including cyclic peptide modulators. It includes methods of using such modulators as therapeutic agents.
Claims
1. A kit comprising: (i) R5000 having the core sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1; (ii) a salt; (iii) a buffering agent; and (iv) instructions for use thereof.
2. The kit of claim 1, wherein the kit further comprises water.
3. The kit of claim 1 or 2, wherein the salt is sodium chloride.
4. The kit of any one of claims 1-3, wherein the buffering agent is sodium phosphate or potassium phosphate.
5. The kit of claim 4, wherein the buffering agent is sodium phosphate.
6. The kit of any one of claims 1-5, for use as a medicament.
7. The kit for use of claim 6, wherein R5000 is formulated in aqueous solution comprising the salt and buffering agent.
8. The kit for use of claim 7, wherein the salt is sodium chloride at a concentration of from 25 mM to 100 mM.
9. The kit for use of claim 7 or 8, wherein the buffering agent is sodium phosphate at a concentration from 10 mM to 100 mM.
