Abstract

The present invention provides an antibody or an antigen binding fragment thereof that binds to GDF15. The antibody or the antigen binding fragment thereof comprises a CDR sequence selected from at least one of the following sequences or an amino acid sequence having at least 66% identity with the CDR sequence: heavy chain variable region CDR sequences: SEQ ID NO: 1-34 and SEQ ID NO: 74-76; and the light chain variable region CDR sequences are as follows: SEQ ID NO: 36 to 73 and SEQ ID NO: 77 to 82. According to the embodiment of the invention, the antibody or the antigen binding fragment thereof can be specifically bound with GDF15, can effectively block binding of GFRAL and GDF15, can effectively inhibit Treg differentiation, and can be used for preventing and / or treating cancers and cachexia.
