Abstract

A hair drying and / or styling appliance is provided, comprising: a heater for providing heat for drying and / or styling hair, wherein the heater comprises independently operable heating zones; a processor; and an illumination display located adjacent to at least one side of the heater and comprising independently operable illumination portions; wherein the processor is configured to receive styler values and control illumination of the independently operable illumination portions in dependence on the styler values.
