Abstract

The present invention relates to a bonding device that bonds a tire component to a building drum, wherein the bonding device comprises a base, a bonding roller, and an adjustment element that moves the bonding roller relative to the base, wherein the bonding roller is further movable relative to the adjustment element toward the building drum, wherein the bonding device comprises a first actuator that controls the movement of the adjustment element relative to the base, and a second actuator that controls the movement of the bonding roller relative to the adjustment element, wherein the bonding device further comprises a power-operated safety mechanism that can be switched between an unlocked configuration in which the adjustment element is movable relative to the base in the adjustment direction, and a locked configuration in which the adjustment element is secured relative to the base. The present invention relates to a coupling device, which connects a tire component on a construction drum, wherein the coupling device comprises a base, a coupling roller and an adjusting element, which moves the coupling roller relative to the base, where the coupling roller can further move relative to the adjusting element towards the construction drum, where the coupling device comprises a first actuator, which controls the movement of the adjusting element relative to the base, and a second actuator, which controls the movement of the coupling roller relative to the adjusting element, where the coupling device further comprises a machine-driven safety mechanism, which can be switched between an unlocked configuration, in which the adjusting element can be moved relative to the base in the adjusting direction, and a locked configuration, in which the adjusting element is secured relative to the base.
