Ecological repellent

Abstract

The ecological repellent made of sheep's wool presented here is an alternative means of combating slugs, especially those of the genus Arion, namely the Spanish snail (Arion vulgaris) and the European red snail (Arion rufus). This ecological repellent is produced from raw sheep's wool, which is first mechanically cleaned of grass and impurities. The sheep's wool is then cut into smaller pieces, and if necessary dried, and then ground into particles of 2 to 4 millimeters in size.
