Abstract

The device for separating thermoformed films from the forming model ensures the separation of the thermoformed film from the model, without deformation or damage to the film itself or the thermoforming model. The device consists of a housing (1), a physical model holder (8), a pressure pump (6) or a vacuum pump (7). The housing (1) and the holder (8) form a space that the thermoformed film (2), which is located between them, divides into two mutually separate air chambers (4) and (5). By switching on the vacuum pump (7), which is connected to the housing (1) or to the chamber (5), a field of reduced air pressure is formed in the chamber (5), thereby forming a force that acts on the film (2), which is separated from the model (3). By separating the holder (8) from the housing (1), the separated film (2) is removed from the device.
