Abstract

The ice and snow melter for the rink and beyond comprises a container (10) having one large opening (12) on its upper side. This container (10) is located on the structure (14). At the bottom of the container (10) there is a heater (16) which is evenly distributed. The container (10) has a slight slope of the sheet (24) on one side, which enables water to drain through the water opening (22). On each side, the structure (14) has plastic partitions (20), one of which has a plastic box containing the power cable (18). An ice and snow melter for an ice rink and other purposes comprises a container (10) having a large opening (12) on its upper side. This container (10) is located on a structure (14). The aim of the invention is to arrange the area around the ice rink so that it is free of snow in order to facilitate movement around the ice rink, and to reduce water consumption.
