Abstract

A battery (1), characterized in that it comprises a cell (13), a housing (12) and a cover assembly (11), wherein the cell (13) is received in the housing (12); the cover assembly (11) is connected to each of the cell (13) and the housing (12); the cover assembly (11) comprises a cover plate (111) arranged at the end of the housing (12); the peripheral edge of the cover plate (111) is provided with a boundary portion (1113), and the boundary portion (1113) extends from the cover plate (111) towards the cell (13) and surrounds the tabs of the cell (13).
