Abstract

A protective structure (100) for protecting bridge girders (20) against collision with vehicles, comprising a sandwich panel consisting of at least two honeycomb structures and a covering plate and an outer plate (10) covering the sandwich panel, characterised in that one sandwich panel is designed as a projection (5) to which another sandwich panel designed as a body (6) is connected along the shorter side of the projection (5), and the outer plate (10) is provided with fastening plates (7).
