MOLDED BRUSH BODY, AND TOOTHBRUSH

Abstract

The present invention provides a molded brush body that has a soft tactile feel and can improve the usability or appearance of the toothbrush. A head base portion made of a soft resin, and a plurality of filaments protruding from a supporting surface positioned on a side of the front surface in a thickness direction of the head base portion are provided. The head base portion includes a mounting hole extending in a longitudinal direction orthogonal to the thickness direction and opening on one side in the length direction.A pre-molded body comprising a filament group comprising at least some of a plurality of filaments and a support base portion configured to support a base portion of the filament group and positioned on a front surface side relative to a mounting hole to form a portion of the head base portion, and having at least one portion molded using a first resin composition, and a molded main brush body comprising a portion other than the pre-molded body between the head base portion and the plurality of filaments and molded using a second resin composition different from the first resin composition are provided. The pre-molded body and the molded main brush body are molded bodies that are molded integrally with each other.
