EXTENDED MILEAGE VEHICLE BODY AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHODS

Abstract

This application relates to an extended range vehicle body and a method of manufacturing thereof. The vehicle body includes a front compartment assembly, a floor assembly, and a range extender assembly. The front compartment assembly is provided with a first mount and a second mount. The floor assembly includes a central tunnel; said central tunnel is provided with a third mount; and the third mount is spaced from the first mount and the second mount in both a front-rear and an up-down direction. The floor assembly plinth is formed by drawing to form the floor body and the central tunnel, and material storage protrusions are formed on the central tunnel; said floor plinth is processed by forming; and the arc length of each material storage protrusion is equal to the arc length of the corresponding arc-shaped angle.With this structure and manufacturing method, the assembly position tolerance is reduced by 2 mm, the amplitude of the mileage extender assembly during driving is reduced, the vehicle failure rate is reduced by 20%, and the noise is reduced by 3 dB. The mileage extender assembly manufactured by this method can be adapted to various vehicle models; the utilization rate of the vehicle interior space is increased; the passenger compartment space is increased by 170 mm; the system modal frequency is increased to 316 Hz; and the support strength of the mileage extender assembly is increased by 30%.
