INTEGRATED PROCESS FOR SIMULTANEOUS PRODUCTION OF ALKALI METAL METOXIDES

Abstract

In a first aspect, the present invention relates to an integrated process for simultaneously producing n mixtures P(i) comprising alkali metal methoxides and methanol, the process comprising producing at least three streams G, T(1a), and T(1b) from a vapor phase V from the top of a rectification column D. In a second aspect, the present invention relates to a chemical production unit for carrying out the process according to the first aspect; and a third aspect of the present invention relates to using a chemical production unit according to the second aspect or a process according to the first aspect to simultaneously produce n mixtures P(i) comprising alkali metal methoxides and methanol.
