METHODS AND EQUIPMENT FOR CREATING A FAST CHARGING MAP

Abstract

The present invention provides a method and apparatus for generating a fast charging map. The method for generating a fast charging map according to the present disclosure includes obtaining a plurality of charging test results each corresponding to a plurality of charging conditions corresponding to combinations of a plurality of current rates and a plurality of ambient temperatures; determining a plurality of charging characteristic profiles each corresponding to a plurality of ambient temperatures by analyzing the plurality of charging test results; and determining a plurality of charging control profiles each corresponding to a plurality of temperatures of interest by analyzing the plurality of charging characteristic profiles, wherein the fast charging map is a set of the plurality of charging control profiles.
