CONFIGURATION HANDLING WITH TWO TIME ADVANCEMENT GROUPS

Abstract

Example embodiments of the present invention relate to handling a semi-persistent assignment (SPS) configuration with a time advancement (TA) framework. In an aspect, a device determines a first time alignment timer (TAT) for a first time advancement group (TAG) is in a first state and a second TAT for a second TAG is in a second state. The device further determines that a semi-persistent scheduling configuration (SPS) is associated with the first TAG and performs an operation to the SPS configuration. In this manner, a configured downlink assignment or SPS configuration is deleted or disabled if one TAT expires for a server cell for which the uplink physical control channel (PUCCH) feedback cannot be transmitted based on the PUCCH resource or TAG association.
