Abstract

This invention aims to obtain a detection kit consisting of primers, Real Time PCR reagent formulas, and analysis protocols that function as early diagnostic kits for nasopharyngeal cancer. Primers are designed to detect the presence of DNA methylation of target genes in specimens. The process of DNA restriction of specimens using methylated specific restriction enzyme HhaI is carried out before being used as a template in the real time PCR analysis process. This diagnostic kit consists of a real time PCR analysis reagent formula and its analysis procedures. The real time PCR reagent formula used is specifically designed to amplify DNA methylation of target genes, namely RASSF1A and CHFR. Positive results are indicated by the presence of an amplification curve on the target gene, while negative results are indicated by the absence of a curve on the target gene.
