BOYA MONITORING SYSTEM WITH MULTIPLE WATER COLUMN DAMPERS

Abstract

This invention relates to a monitoring boa system that can be installed above the sea surface where the system consists of three subsystems such as a floating structure subsystem, a passive damper subsystem, and an electronic subsystem, which is characterized by using multiple water column dampers, floating balls and a transmitter system frame construction where the damper subsystem functions to reduce the amplitude of motion of the floating structure due to disturbances from random sea waves, where the floating balls function to increase the buoyancy force, where the electronic box functions to protect the electronic subsystem and the transmitter system frame which functions as a mechanical structure of the transmitter system that functions to transmit data from monitoring marine environmental conditions in the form of wireless digital signals where the process is carried out in real-time which is executed by the electronic subsystem.Test simulations show that the monitoring boya system with multiple water column dampers can reduce the amplitude of the boya motion in the vertical direction by 78.19%.
