Abstract

A wireless transmitter / receiver unit (WTRU) includes a processor configured to receive, from a network device, configuration information. The configuration information may indicate one or more reference signals (RS) for measurement and priority configuration of artificial intelligence (AI) / machine learning (ML) (AI / ML) operation locations where the AI / ML operation is to be performed. The AI / ML operation location may be at the WTRU or at the network device. The processor may be configured to determine a prediction quality of the WTRU based on measurement values ​​associated with the one or more RS, determine a network prediction quality, determine a preferred AI / ML location based on the WTRU prediction quality, the network prediction quality, and the priority configuration, and send an indication of the preferred AI / ML location to the network device to perform a file selection using the AI / ML operation.
