ADAPTOR FOR MEDICAL CONTAINERS

Abstract

This product is an adapter used to mix medication contained in an infusion bag with medication contained in a medical container such as a vial. The product is installed on the infusion bag port as shown in "Reference View 1 Showing Conditions of Use". When mixing medication, the cap is removed to expose the needle. After the needle is inserted into a medical container such as a vial as shown in "Reference View 2 Showing Conditions of Use", the stopcock / valve is turned to connect the infusion bag and the medical container. When the needle is inserted into the medical container, the medical container is held in place by a holder on the product.
