Abstract
Description
Description VEHICLE COVERING TOOLS Invention Engineering Field The present invention relates to a covering device that covers the supply port on a vehicle. Background of the Invention Most covers that cover supply ports such as fuel supply ports or power supply ports provided on vehicles have the cover portion formed from the same sheet metal component as the outer panel. For example, in a vehicle comprising a cover device described in Patent Literature 1, a recessed portion recessed into an interior side of the vehicle is provided on an outer panel that is a sheet metal member, and a power supply port is provided on the recessed portion. The cover device includes a cover member (lid member) that covers the recessed portion, and the cover member is openably and closeably supported by an edge portion of the recessed portion via a hinge. The cover member described in Patent Literature 1 includes, for example, an outer member (main body) in the form of a thin plate and a bracket (hinge base) wherein one end of a hinge is fastened thereto. This cover member has a structure wherein a flange provided by bending an outer peripheral end portion of the outer member and an end portion of the bracket bent according to the flange are fastened by, for example, spot welding. Patent Literature Patent Literature 1: JP2010-280243A. Brief Description of the Invention However, as in Patent Literature 1, the cover member formed by welding two sheet metal components at the outer peripheral portion has the problem that the welding portion is exposed in an open state and the appearance is poor. In recent years, resin components have been widely used in vehicles to reduce weight and improve appearance. Furthermore, the number of enclosures, where the enclosure comprises an outer component formed from sheet metal components and a resin component fastened to the inner side of the outer component, is increasing. However, this outer component includes two components, namely, a thin plate-shaped outer component that constitutes the outer panel part and an outer bracket that supports the resin component, and the outer component and the outer bracket are often fastened by spot welding from the viewpoint of manufacturability. Therefore, although this cover part includes resin components, there is still a problem that a welding part between the outer component and the outer bracket is provided, this welding part can be seen in the open state of the cover part, and the appearance is disturbed. Furthermore, in cases where this cover member is formed by welding two sheet metal components at the outer peripheral part, the edge of the sheet metal component may be touched when the cover member is opened and closed, and safety and comfort may be compromised. This invention has been made to solve the aforementioned problem, and its purpose is to provide a closing device that includes a closing member that can improve the appearance by hiding the joint parts such as welding parts and can be opened and closed safely and conveniently. To achieve the above objectives, a closing device according to the present invention includes: a closing member configured to open and close an opening portion provided on an outer panel of a vehicle, wherein the closing member includes an outer member covering the opening portion and composing an outer panel member, an inner member covering a rear surface of the outer member and rotatably connected to an inner side of the opening portion via a hinge, and an outer bracket provided between the outer member and the inner member and fastening the outer member and the inner member, the outer member including a folding member formed by extending an edge portion of an outer peripheral portion thereof to a side of the inner member and folding back the edge portion to the inner peripheral side, and a first flange erected from the folded portion to the side of the inner member on the inner peripheral side relative to the outer peripheral portion of the outer member,The outer bracket has a second flange coupled to the first flange and fastened to the outer member, and the inner member is fastened to the outer bracket by a flange portion extending from the outer peripheral portion to a side of the outer member and covering at least the outer peripheral side at a connection portion between the first flange and the second flange., Thus, in a closing device that includes a closing portion that opens and closes an opening portion, because an edge portion of an outer peripheral portion of an outer component of the closing portion is folded back to the inner peripheral side to form a folded portion, it is possible to improve safety and comfort when the driver (operator) touches the edge portion of an outer peripheral portion of the outer component. Furthermore, since the outer peripheral side of the connection portion between the first flange and the second flange is covered by the flange portion of the inner component, this connection portion cannot be seen even if the cover portion is in the open state, and the appearance of the cover portion can be improved. Preferably, the inner member can be rotatably supported at one end portion of the cover member via a hinge, and the connection portion between the first flange and the second flange can be disposed at least on the side of the other end portion facing one end portion of the cover member. Thus, since this cover is opened and closed with one end portion to which this hinge is connected as the rotation center, the other end portion which is the side of the cover portion opposite the hinge is easily visible when this cover is in the open state, and there is a high possibility that the driver places his hand on the other end portion. Therefore, it is possible to effectively improve the safety, comfort, and appearance of an area where the driver can easily place his hand and is easily visible when this cover is opened and closed. Preferably, an inner peripheral edge of the opening portion of the outer panel can be bent to the inner side of the opening portion and extend to the inner side of the opening portion, a first end portion on the side of the opening portion that is adapted into the opening portion and abuts around the entire circumference of the inner peripheral edge of the opening portion can be formed in a tubular shape, and a bracket member forming a container member within the opening portion can be provided, and a flange portion of the inner component can be located on the inner peripheral side relative to the outer peripheral portion of the outer component, and facing the first end portion of the bracket member on the inner side in a circumferential direction. Thus, because the tubular bracket member is provided inside the opening member, the appearance of the inside of the opening member can be improved. Furthermore, because the flange portion of the member faces the first end portion of the bracket member on the inside in the circumferential direction, the thickness of the end portion of the closing member can be compressed to the thickness of the folded portion. Preferably, a support panel connected to an inner peripheral edge of an opening portion of an opening portion for supporting a bracket member can be provided, the first end portion of this bracket member can cover a connection portion between the inner peripheral edge of the opening portion and the support panel, and the inner peripheral edge of the opening portion of the outer panel can extend to an inner side of the vehicle by a length corresponding to the thickness of the folded portion of the outer member. Thus, since the connection portion between the inner peripheral edge of the opening portion and the support panel is covered by the bracket member, and the inner peripheral edge of the opening portion of the outer panel is extended to the inner side of the vehicle by a length corresponding to the thickness of the folded portion of the outer component, the thickness of the folded portion of the outer component can be reduced, and the folding dimension of the inner peripheral edge of the opening portion of the outer panel to the inner side of the vehicle can be shortened. Thus, the appearance of the inner peripheral edge of the opening portion of the outer panel can be improved. Preferably, the outer component and the outer bracket can be formed from sheet metal components, and the first flange and the second flange can be connected by welding, and the inner component can be formed from a resin component and provided on the back surface side of the outer component in a state of covering the circumference of the outer bracket. In this way, the welding part between the outer component and the outer bracket formed from sheet metal components is hidden by the inner component, and the appearance can be improved. Preferably, the fuel supply port or power supply port on the vehicle can be accommodated within the opening section. Thus, in a cover device that includes a cover portion for opening and closing an opening portion in which a fuel supply port or a power supply port is accommodated, a connection portion between an outer component of the cover portion and an outer bracket is concealed by an inner component that improves the appearance, and safety and comfort when a driver touches an edge portion of an outer peripheral portion of the cover portion when opening and closing the cover portion can be improved. According to the closing device of the present invention, it is possible to improve safety and comfort when the driver touches the edge portion of the outer peripheral portion of the closing member, namely, the folded portion of the outer component when opening and closing the closing member, and it is possible to improve the appearance by hiding the connection portion between the first flange and the second flange by the flange portion of the inner component. Complete Description of the Invention Description Reference Numbers cover part outer panel cover part hinge opening part outer component outer bracket inner component welding part (connection part) first flange second flange folded part flange part door bracket power supply port (bracket component) body panel (support panel) Next, embodiments of a vehicle structure embodying the present invention will be described. Figure 1 is an exterior view of a closing device (1) according to an embodiment of the present invention. Figure 2 is an assembly view showing the structure of the closing member (2) of the closing device (1) according to this embodiment. In the following description, regarding the cover part (2) that opens and closes, the front-rear direction of the vehicle when the cover part (2) is in the closed state is referred to as the front-rear direction, and the inside side in the width direction of the vehicle and the outside side in the width direction of the vehicle are referred to as the inside side and the outside side, respectively. As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the closing device (1) according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a closing member (2) that covers an opening portion (4) of the outer panel (3) of the vehicle, a hinge (5), and a locking device (6) that holds the closing member (2) in a closed state. This opening (4) is provided on the outer panel (3) that forms the outer wall of the vehicle. The power supply port (7) on the vehicle is located on the inner side of the opening (4) in the width direction of the vehicle. In this embodiment, the closing device (1) is positioned at the right rear of the vehicle. A hinge (5) is fastened to a front vehicle side end portion (one end portion) of the closing member (2) formed in a rectangular shape. The rear vehicle side end portion of the closing member (2) is configured to open to the outside of the vehicle (the right side of the vehicle) with the front vehicle side end portion of the closing member (2) as the center of rotation. This locking device (6) is configured to maintain the closed state of the cover section (2) by locking the rear vehicle side of the cover section (2) in the closed state. As shown in Figure 2, the cover part (2) includes an outer component (10), an outer bracket (11), and an inner component (12). This outer component (10) is a thin plate component that has a rectangular shape with rounded corners, and is formed from the same sheet metal component as the outer panel (3). An outer bracket (11) is formed from a sheet metal member, is fastened inside the outer member (10), and has the function of supporting the outer member (10). To ensure strength, this outer bracket (11) is provided with a plurality of ribs (13) each having a height of about several millimeters. Furthermore, this outer bracket (11) is provided with a plurality of hole portions (14) for locking gripping portions (not shown) provided in the inner member (12). This outer bracket (11) is inserted between the outer member (10) and the inner member (12), and has the function of fastening the outer member (10) and the inner member (12). The outer bracket (11) and the inner member (12) are fastened to each other by inserting the gripping portion of the inner member (12) into the hole portion (14) and shifting the outer bracket (11) forward relative to the inner member (12). This inner component (12) is formed from a resin component, and covers the inner side (inner side in the width direction of the vehicle) of the outer component (10), namely, the rear surface of the outer component (10). A hinge fastening member (15) for fastening one end of the hinge (5) is provided at the end of the front side of the inner component (12). This inner component (12) is rotatably connected to the inner part of the opening part (4) via a hinge (5). The outer component (10) and the outer bracket (11) are fastened to each other by spot welding at two locations on the outer peripheral portion, specifically, at the welding portion (16) (connection portion) at the center portion in the up-down direction of the two end portions in the front-rear direction of the vehicle. Figure 3 is a cross-sectional view showing the structure of the cover member (2) at the position of the welding member (16). Figure 4 is a cross-sectional view showing the structure of the outer peripheral part of the cover member (2). Figure 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line (AA) shown in Figure 2. Figure 4 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line (BB) shown in Figure 2. As shown in Figures 2 and 3, a first flange (20) protruding inward (toward the inner side in the vehicle width direction) is provided at the center portion in the upper-lower direction of the rear end portion of the vehicle of the outer component (10). Furthermore, a second flange (21) protruding inward (toward the inner side in the vehicle width direction) together with the first flange (20) of the outer component (10) is provided at both end portions of the outer bracket (11). Welding portions (16) between the outer component (10) and the outer bracket (11) are located at the first flange (20) and the second flange (21). The rear end of the outer member (10) is folded back to the inner peripheral side to provide a folded portion (22), and the first flange (20) is located, for example, about 1 cm in front (on the inner peripheral side) of the rear end of the outer member (10). The outer peripheral portion of the inner component (12) is bent outward (outward in the vehicle width direction) to the outer component (10), and is formed with a flange portion (25) extending to the side of the outer component (10). This flange portion (25) is located adjacent to the rear (outer peripheral side) of the first flange (20) on the outer component (10), and covers the welding portion (16). Therefore, the flange portion (25) of the inner component (12) prevents the welding portion (16) from being visible from the rear. The structure near the welding portion (16) at the front end portion of the vehicle of the cover portion (2) is also configured similarly to the structure of the rear end portion of the vehicle described above. As shown in Figure 4, on the outer peripheral portion of the cover portion (2) in addition to the welding portion (16), the outer peripheral end portion of the outer component (10) is bent inward (toward the inward side in the vehicle width direction) to form an edge portion (30). The flange portion (25) of the inner component (12) is bent outward to the outer component (10), and the end portion thereof is further bent backward (toward the outer peripheral side). The outer peripheral end portion (31) of the inner component (12) is located near the end portion on the edge portion (30) of the outer component (10). In Figure 4, the end portion on the edge portion (30) of the outer component (10) protrudes slightly inward in the vehicle width direction from the outer peripheral end portion (31) of the inner component (12), but it is desirable that the end portion on the edge portion (30) does not protrude inward in the vehicle width direction from the outer peripheral end portion (31). Figure 5 is a cross-sectional view showing the structure of the outer peripheral portion of the cover portion (2) in the closed state and the outer panel (3) around the outer peripheral portion. Figure 5 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line (CC) shown in Figure 1. As shown in Figures 1 and 5, a power supply port door bracket (40) (bracket member) is provided on the inside of an opening portion (4) in the width direction of the vehicle from the outer panel (3) of the vehicle. This power supply port door bracket (40) is formed of resin, has a tubular portion and a bottom plate, and is formed in the form of a box that is opened outward. The power supply port (7) is fastened to the bottom plate on the power supply port door bracket (40), and the power supply port (7) is provided in a receptacle portion formed on the power supply port door bracket (40). As shown in Figure 5, the edge portion (41), which is the inner peripheral edge of the opening portion (4) of the outer panel (3), is bent inward in the vehicle width direction (toward the inside of the vehicle) over the entire circumference of the opening portion (4) by a length (for example, about 5 mm) approximately the thickness of the folded portion (22) of the outer member (10). A body panel (42) (support panel) supporting the power supply port door bracket (40) is fastened to the edge portion (41) of the opening portion (4) of the outer panel (3) by, for example, welding or the like. This body panel (42) supports the outer peripheral portion of the power supply port door bracket (40). The edge portion (43) (first end portion) of the tubular portion of the power supply port door bracket (40) is fitted into the opening portion (4) of the outer panel (3), and is in contact with or adjacent to the edge portion (41) of the outer panel (3). The gap between the edge portion (43) of the power supply port door bracket (40) and the edge portion (41) of the outer panel (3) is filled with sealant or the like. As described above, the enclosure (1) in this embodiment includes an enclosure portion (2) that covers an opening portion (4) of an outer panel (3) having a power supply port (7) therein, and the enclosure portion (2) includes an outer component (10) of a sheet metal component that constitutes the outer panel portion (3), an outer bracket (11) formed from the sheet metal component and supporting the outer component (10), and an inner component (12) formed from a resin component, and configured to overlap the outer component (10), the outer bracket (11), and the inner component (12). Thus, because the inner side of the cover member (2) is configured with the inner component (12) of the resin component, the appearance of the inner side of the cover member (2) can be improved. The outer component (10) and the outer bracket (11) are fastened to each other by spot welding at both end parts of the cover part (2) in the front-rear direction (both end parts of the cover part (2) are in the closed state in the front-rear direction of the vehicle). Since the first flange (20) which is turned inward (to the inner side of the cover part (2) in the width direction of the vehicle in the closed state) on the outer peripheral part of the outer component (10) and the second flange (21) which is turned inward (to the inner side of the cover part (2) in the closed state in the width direction of the vehicle) on the outer peripheral part of the outer bracket (11) are welded, the first flange (20) and the second flange (21) can be fastened easily by spot welding. In the outer component (10) of this embodiment, because the outer peripheral portion thereof is folded back to the inner peripheral side to form a folded portion (22), it is possible to improve safety and comfort when the driver touches the outer peripheral portion of the outer component (10). Therefore, when the driver tries to touch the end portion of the cover portion (2) to open and close the cover portion (2), because the driver touches the folded portion (22), which has a folded shape, of the outer component (10), safety and comfort can be ensured. Furthermore, since the outer peripheral side of the welding portion (16) between the first flange (20) and the second flange (21) is covered by a flange portion (25) formed by bending the outer peripheral part of the inner component (12) to the side of the outer component (10), the welding portion (16) cannot be seen even if the cover portion (2) is in the open state, and the appearance of the cover portion (2) can be improved. In particular, since a welding portion (16) between the outer component (10) and the outer bracket (11) is provided on the rear side (other end portion) which is the side of the cover portion (2) opposite the hinge (5), it is possible to effectively improve safety, comfort, and appearance in an area where the driver can easily place his hands and is easily visible when the cover portion (2) is opened and closed. An edge portion (41) of the opening portion (4) of the outer panel (3) is bent to the inner side of the vehicle to a length corresponding to the thickness of the folded portion (22) on the outer peripheral side on the first flange (20) of the outer member (10), and an end portion of the box-shaped power supply port door bracket (40) made of resin contacts the end end of the edge portion (41). In this embodiment, the first flange (20) and the second flange (21) are disposed on the inner side of the outer peripheral end portion of the cover member (2), and this outer peripheral end portion is configured with a folded portion (22) of the outer component (10), so that the thickness of the outer peripheral end portion of the cover member (2) can be compressed to the thickness of the folded portion (22). Therefore, the edge portion (41) of the opening portion (4) of the outer panel (3) can be shortened according to the thickness of the folded portion (22). The edge portion (41) of the outer panel (3) and the power supply port door bracket (40) are components that are different from each other, the gap between these abutting portions is filled with sealant or the like, and the edge portion (41) of the outer panel (3) is shortened, so that the appearance of the edge portion (41) of the opening portion (4) of the outer panel (3) can be improved in the state of the open cover member (2). This embodiment has been described above, but the technical features of the present invention are not limited to the above embodiment. For example, in the embodiment described above, the welding member (16) is provided at two positions at both end portions of the cover member (2) in the front-back direction, but can be provided at other outer peripheral portions such as the end portions in the top-down direction. Although the inner component (12) is made of resin, the inner component (12) can also be made of other materials. The shape of the outer component (10), the inner component (12), and the outer bracket (11) can be changed accordingly, and other detailed parts of the cover device (1) can be changed accordingly. Furthermore, in the above embodiment, the first flange (20) on the outer member (10) and the second flange (21) on the outer bracket (11) are joined by welding at the welding member (16), but the flanges may be joined by means other than welding. Furthermore, in the above embodiment, the present invention 5 is applied to a closing device (1) that opens and closes a power supply port (7) on a vehicle, but the present invention can be applied to a closing device that opens and closes a fuel supply port on a vehicle, or other closing devices. The present invention can be broadly applied to closing devices that 10 include a closing member that opens and closes an opening portion of a vehicle. This application is based on Japanese Patent Application No. 2020-170388 filed on October 8, 2020, and the contents are incorporated herein by reference. 15
