TORQUE AMPLIFIER DEVICE

Abstract

A torque amplifying device includes a rotor, a set of rotor magnets, a set of stator magnets, and a lever assembly and a crank member. The rotor magnets are diametrically disposed across the rotor. The rotor is rotated by an electric motor connected to the rotor to generate a rotating magnetic field 10 around the rotor through the rotor magnets. The stator magnets are slidably positioned at a predetermined distance from the rotor on outer guides, and slide in a reciprocating motion in response to the rotating magnetic field, wherein a first stator magnet l5 diametrically opposite a second stator magnet reciprocates in opposite directions. A lever is connected to each of the stator magnets to rotate the crank member, wherein the first stator magnet and the second stator magnet rotate the crank member to amplify and transmit 20 torque from the electric motor to the crank member.
