Abstract

Ibuprofen pharmaceutical composition for injection containing an aqueous solution of ibuprofen and trometamol. This composition exhibits minimal loss of active ingredient and acceptable increase in contaminants after autoclaving, properties that have been demonstrated in various types of containers, such as containers 10 made of plastics such as polypropylene, PVC and polyethylene, as well as in glass containers. This composition, after autoclaving, still complies with all relevant technical specifications of the European Pharmacopoeia and the USP.
