Abstract
This invention concerns the manufacture of liquid organic fertilizer from vegetable juice waste through a controlled bioconversion process using a local bacterial starter bioactivator, Formulasi Unggulan Alam Domestik (FUAD). This process includes, among others, the activation stage of the FUAD starter, preparation of vegetable juice waste substrate into a carbon source component by adding 0.3% v / v molasses and 0.3% v / v KOH. The fermentation process is carried out in a closed container with a mixture composition of 13% v / v for each component B1, B2, B3, and 13% v / v ecoenzyme. 0.3% v / v molasses is added to the remaining volume with vegetable juice solvent. Fermentation is carried out with a batch system for 28 days, where fermentation conditions are maintained at a pH range of 3.5-5.5 and a temperature of 24-26°C. These specific operational conditions prevent the premature death phase of biomass, as well as maintain C / N stability, thus producing an environmentally friendly organic liquid fertilizer.
