AUTOMATIC HONEY DRYER

Abstract

This invention concerns an automated honey drying system used to rapidly and controllably reduce the moisture content of honey. The system consists of a drying chamber, a heating system, an air circulation fan, temperature and humidity sensors, and an automatic control unit. The system operates by regulating temperature and airflow to optimally reduce the moisture content of honey in approximately 3–4 hours. This invention was developed to improve honey quality to meet quality standards and increase the efficiency of honey processing for community-scale beekeepers.
