Abstract
This invention concerns a minor surgical medical device in the form of a Circumcision Clamp with an Anatomical Oval Lumen Design, a Controlled Compression System, and Urethral and Glans Structure Protection Features. More specifically, this invention relates to a clamp for circumcision procedures that has an integrated anatomical design to improve safety, precision, and hemostasis control during the procedure. The main objective of this invention is to overcome existing problems, especially the limitations of conventional circumcision clamps. This device consists of: an anatomical oval lumen, a dorsal tube design that is longer than the ventral, a shorter ventral tube for protection of the urethral area, an observation window for visualization of the external urethral meatus, a compression system with optimized crushing force, and an internal glans protection structure. This combination of features is characterized by the ability to produce a more even pressure distribution, thereby increasing the safety of the procedure. Other objectives of the present invention are to reduce the risk of urethral injury, improve cutting precision, provide direct visualization of the urethral position, and optimize hemostasis without causing excessive tissue damage. Other benefits will be further explained with reference to the accompanying drawings in the complete description of the present invention.
