Abstract
This invention relates to a process of recycling plastic bottle caps to produce an English language learning device based on a modular dialogue wheel. The process includes the stages of collecting used plastic bottle caps, sorting and cleaning the material, drilling holes in the bottle caps, installing connecting axles, assembling modular dialogue wheels, grouping dialogue elements consisting of situations, expressions, and responses, including conversation elements on each wheel, and assembling the device equipped with stimulus cards or dialogue cards, a device stand, and a storage container. The learning device resulting from this process consists of a number of modular dialogue wheels containing English conversation elements based on certain communicative functions, including a situation wheel, an expression wheel, and a response wheel. These wheels can be rotated, selected, exchanged, combined, and reconfigured to produce various variations of English conversations according to the specified communication context. Stimulus cards or dialogue cards are used as triggers for the formation of conversations based on certain learning situations. This invention is characterized by the process of reusing used plastic bottle caps which are processed and assembled into modular dialogue wheels based on conversation elements, resulting in a manipulative, interactive, collaborative, environmentally friendly, economical learning tool, and can be used to improve English speaking skills through the activity of composing and practicing conversations directly.
