Abstract

This invention concerns an effervescent granule formulation composition that can be used in diabetic patients. This invention contains a composition consisting of active ingredients of Moringa Oleafera leaf extract and lime (Citrus microcarpa) fruit juice as well as excipients. The formula composition according to this invention is arranged in a certain concentration range that can provide a stable and pharmaceutically acceptable formulation. The Moringa extract used through an extraction process that meets the quality of the extract such as water content, ash content and contains 125.892 mgQE / gr of flavonoids and 27.51 m / g of vitamin C. This invention provides a new formula composition that has the potential to be used orally as part of the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus.
