Abstract

This invention discloses a method for making active electrode materials based on CQDs / NiO nanoflower / PANi nanocomposites for electrochemical sensor applications based on voltammetry techniques. This method includes the main stages of CQDs synthesis through electrolysis using NaOH and ethanol solutions with carbon electrodes, separation of CQDs suspension through filtration and centrifugation, mixing the CQDs solution with nickel precursors in the form of NiSO₂ and in ethanol solvent through a sintering process until a homogeneous nanocomposite suspension is formed, followed by a hydrothermal process at a temperature of about 180°C for 10 hours to form CQDs / NiO nanoflower / PANi nanocomposites. Furthermore, the product is separated by centrifugation, washed, and dried at a temperature of 60–80°C to obtain nanocomposite powder as an active electrode material. The advantage of this invention lies in the simple, efficient, and more environmentally friendly synthesis method compared to conventional methods, so that it is able to produce active electrode materials with better electron transfer capabilities, high sensitivity, and good electrochemical stability for voltammetric sensor applications.
