Diesel Fuel Filter Cleaning Tool Based on Backflushing and Mechanical Vibration

Abstract

This invention concerns the field of maintenance and care engineering of diesel vehicle fuel systems, specifically a diesel fuel filter cleaning tool based on back flushing and mechanical vibration. This tool consists of a back flushing system, a mechanical vibration generating system, a PWM-based flow pressure and vibration frequency control system, and a pressure, flow rate, and vibration monitoring system controlled by an ESP32 microcontroller and displayed on an LCD. This invention is characterized by the combination of back flushing and mechanical vibration methods in one integrated system so that the back flow pressure and vibration frequency can be adjusted according to the filter clogging conditions. The cleaning process is carried out by flowing fuel in the opposite direction to the normal filtration direction while simultaneously providing mechanical vibration so that contaminants attached to the filter media are released and carried to the 5 micron filter.This invention is able to increase the effectiveness of filter cleaning, reduce pressure drop, restore fuel flow rate, extend filter life, and reduce the need for periodic replacement of diesel fuel filters in diesel engine vehicles.
