Abstract
This invention concerns a computer-based system for integrating and analyzing longitudinal assessment data in competency-based medical education. The system consists of data acquisition, data normalization, competency mapping, Dynamic Competency Achievement Index (D-CAI), Learning Trajectory Prediction Engine (LTPE), Academic Risk Score (ARS), Adaptive Academic Decision Engine (AADE), and a visualization dashboard. Assessment data is obtained from various sources including CBT, OSCE, Mini-CEX, DOPS, workplace-based assessment, electronic portfolio, reflection, and feedback. The system calculates the dynamic competency index using assessment weights, instrument reliability, and time factors, then predicts student competency development and automatically identifies academic risks. Based on the analysis results, the system generates academic recommendations in the form of promotion, mentoring, remediation, or enrichment.This invention enables longitudinal monitoring of competency, increases the objectivity of academic decision-making, and supports the implementation of competency-based medical education more effectively and efficiently.
