Abstract

This invention concerns a multiphase catalyst contactor designed to improve the efficiency of chemical reaction processes involving three phases (gas, liquid, and solid). The device comprises a reaction chamber, a gas feed system with uniformly distributed nozzles, a liquid feed system with a spray distributor, a uniformly distributed solid catalyst structure, and a reaction product outlet. The design and configuration of this contactor maximize interphase contact and mass transfer, thereby improving reaction rates, conversion, and energy efficiency in industrial chemical processes.
