Abstract

The present invention relates to an incinerator system for processing high-energy materials and / or metal-based reactive materials that produce rapid exothermic reactions accompanied by temperature and pressure fluctuations. The system includes a primary combustion chamber, a secondary combustion chamber, a tangential burner configured to produce a controlled vortex flow, a quenching silo, and a cyclone separator. The primary combustion chamber is equipped with a spiral path-forming internal structure and multilayer walls capable of withstanding thermal and mechanical loads. A two-stage pressure isolation mechanism is placed at the bottom of the primary combustion chamber to allow the discharge of solid residues without immediate pressure relief. Test results indicate that this system is capable of reducing pressure fluctuations by approximately 60–70% and increasing oxidation efficiency by approximately 12–18% compared to conventional incinerator systems.Controlled vortex flow increases residence time and temperature homogeneity, resulting in more stable combustion and significantly reducing pressure surges. This invention provides a safer, more stable, and more efficient incineration solution for reactive and high-energy materials.
