Abstract
AbstractADAPTED SELF-REGULATION TRAINING METHOD BASED ON COGNITIVE INTELLIGENCE PROFILE AND GAMIFICATION This invention concerns a computer-assisted adaptive method for student self-regulation training that integrates Cattell-Horn-Carroll (CHC) cognitive intelligence profile analysis with a gamification mechanism. The method according to the invention is executed through a system consisting of a CHC profile data input unit, a central processing unit with a cognitive load mapping algorithm, and a user interface unit that presents 5 (five) training module sessions sequentially. The adaptive self-regulation training method according to the invention is executed with the following steps: a) inputting the user's Cattell-Horn-Carroll (CHC) intelligence profile score data, b) calculating the game difficulty threshold based on the input data, and c) running 5 adaptive gamification sessions. The primary feature of this invention is the processing unit's ability to automatically and dynamically modify game technical parameters such as instruction complexity, challenge duration, and feedback frequency based on the user's cognitive strengths and weaknesses. This aims to create precise psychological interventions, prevent cognitive overload, and generate response data output in the form of training effectiveness and improved self-regulation skills.
