Abstract

The present invention relates to a medical instrument tray for wound care designed to address the problems of instability of medical instruments and limitations of a sterile work area. The instrument tray (1) includes an inner chamber (3) with a non-slip internal instrument holding system (4) integrated in the center of the bottom. The holding system (4) is in the form of a spherical retaining weir (5) that protrudes upward and has a serrated surface profile (6) to lock the medical instruments from shifting when the tray is tilted. Furthermore, the present invention has a multifunctional instrument tray lid (2) equipped with a handrail (7) and four support legs (10) integrated at the four upper corners (11). The elevation of the support legs (10) is designed to be higher than the handrail (7), so that when the lid (2) is removed and turned over, the four support legs (10) support the lid (2) to the table very stably and evenly without wobbling.This dynamic configuration instantly transforms the bottom surface of the lid (9) into an additional flat sterile table area extension, optimizing the ergonomic arrangement of instruments without the need for a separate sterile tray in a clinical procedure.
