Abstract

The invention discloses a grinding device for small diameter and long height samples. It includes a base, a workbench, a support rod, a top plate, and a fixing mechanism. The centering of the sample is achieved through a positioning seat, a positioning plate, and a fixing knob. By adjusting the angle of the positioning plate, the direction of the centering tube can be changed, and the angle is locked using the fixing knob. Three sets of centering tubes contact the sample to complete centering. A first motor drives one set of positioning plates to rotate, which in turn synchronizes the movement of the other two sets. By replacing positioning plates and centering tubes of different heights, the device can accommodate samples of various heights.
