Abstract

The invention discloses a system and method for accurately answering advanced mathematics questions using a large AI model, related to online education technology. The system includes an AI model base, a mathematical formula recognition module, and an AI question-answering engine. Baidu ERNIE 4.0 serves as the AI model base. The mathematical formula recognition module extracts features using dual branches with different convolution kernel sizes and converts them into counting feature maps via 1× 1 convolution and Sigmoid activation. The AI question-answering engine parses user questions, matches answers from a knowledge base, or generates new answers. It uses Baidu ERNIE 4.0 to transform questions into structured queries, quickly search for matches, and generate answers when no match is found. This solves the problem of low accuracy in parsing and processing complex mathematical questions in the prior art.
