Description
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present disclosure relates to the field of computer software and information management technologies. Specifically, the present disclosure relates to a system and method for supporting targeted sharing and early curation of information through a computerized platform that enables users to easily share information with selected groups of individuals, receive feedback, and organize shared information for easy retrieval and reference. BACKGROUND
[0002] Background description includes information that may be useful in understanding the present disclosure. It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art or relevant to the presently claimed disclosure, or that any publication specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
[0003] The advent of the internet and the proliferation of digital devices has resulted in an explosion of information available to individuals. This abundance of information has created challenges in managing and organizing the information effectively. The problem of information overload has become a major issue for individuals who need to stay abreast of the latest developments in their fields of interest.
[0004] Social media platforms have attempted to address this problem by providing users with a means to share information with others in their networks. However, these platforms have limitations in terms of the ability to target information sharing and to efficiently categorize and organize shared information.
[0005] Targeted sharing of information is crucial in the modern age of information overload. Individuals need to be able to share information with selected groups of individuals who have a particular interest in the topic. This not only ensures that the information is relevant to the audience but also increases the likelihood of feedback and discussion. Such targeted sharing also prevents the spread of irrelevant information to individuals who are not interested in the topic.
[0006] Efficient categorization and organization of shared information is equally important. Shared information needs to be easily retrievable and referenceable for future use. This is especially important in the case of information that has a long-term impact on an individual's work or research. Without efficient categorization and organization, shared information can quickly become lost or forgotten, rendering it useless.
[0007] Therefore, there is a need for a system and method for supporting targeted sharing and early curation of information through a computerized platform that enables users to easily share information with selected groups of individuals, receive feedback, and organize shared information for easy retrieval and reference.
