FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates to trolley bags. In particular, the present invention relates to a self-propelled trolley bag that follows its user by detecting the face.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] For carrying of clothes and other goods during trips suitcases had been used for many years. These suitcases are heavy weight and are therefore uncomfortable to be carried. To overcome such kind of problems they have gone through many advancements and innovations. So the focus was to make suitcase 10 light-weight.
[0003] Earlier in 21st-century wheels were introduced in suitcases for human ease in carrying them. Built-in small wheels enable suitcases to be pulled along hard flat surfaces by a fixed or extendable handle. The disadvantages of 15 such suitcase is its inability to be pulled up / down on the stairs. To carry them on stairways stair climbing trolleys fitted with rotating wheels / tracks are introduced in the suitcases so that they can be pushed or pulled up / down on the stairs.
[0004] Today’s smart trolley bags with features like GPS (global 20 positioning system), smart lock, etc, are getting popular day by day. Movement of these smart trolley bags is controlled via a smart phone application. But this smart trolley bags are not used to climb up / down on the stairs.
[0005] US20140107868A1 discloses about a container with a propelling 25 system that can be controlled remotely, and a sensor system to navigate the container. It further discloses about a Bluetooth transceiver that can communicate with a remote control module, a luggage which has an ability to alert the user and other parties in case luggage is missing or stolen, a battery alert module to provide the battery status, an audible and / or visual alarm system to alert the user, one or 30 more accelerometers, gyro-sensors, GPS location devices, etc., to detect motion3and location of the luggage. The cited prior art can avoid obstacles and collision, it changes its path with incoming obstacles.
[0006] The disadvantage of the cited prior art is that it does not talk about the night vision module and does not follow user path in the low light condition. 5
[0007] In order to overcome the above disadvantages, there is a need to develop a smart trolley bag that follow the user’s motion without user intervention to operate during the day / night time.10 OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
[0008] The principal object of the present invention is to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art.
[0009] An object of the present invention is to provide a trolley bag to 15 carry heavy luggage for the user.
[0010] Another object of the present invention is to provide a trolley bag which is fully automatic and follow the user’s path without any remote control during day / night with high accuracy. 20

[0015] The present invention relates to an interactive trolley bag and more particularly to a bag that follows its user after the face detection. The trolley bag is fully automated in tracking its owner by avoiding obstacles in the way.
[0016] According to an embodiment of the present invention a smart 10 trolley bag, comprising: a frame associated to the trolley bag; a base sheet attached to the frame, wherein the base sheet is used for placing luggage in the bag; plurality of flex up tires attached to the frame, wherein the flex up tire enables easy movement of the bag up / down stairs; a sensor coupled to the base sheet for sensing weight of the luggage; plurality of camera associated with the 15 trolley bag for capturing images of an area in vicinity of the trolley bag; an image processing module interconnected with the trolley bag for scrutinizing the images; a voice recognition module installed in the trolley bag for interacting with a user carrying the bag; an alert module installed in the trolley bag for sending battery alert status to the user; an entertainment module installed in the trolley 20 bag, wherein the entertainment module plays music on user command; a bluetooth module coupled to the trolley bag, wherein the bluetooth module connects multiple devices with the bag; a night vision module associated with the trolley bag, wherein the night vision module comprises plurality of light independent resistor (LDR) and plurality of light emitting diodes (LED) for illuminating a 25 path of motion of the bag by glowing the LED’s and providing light during the night; and at least one transceiver module installed in the trolley bag for establishing communication between the trolley bag and the user.

The trolley bag includes different modules that work together to follow the user path. Laser-based sensors are installed in the trolley bag to calculate the precise distance between the trolley bag and obstacles in the path. An artificial intelligence module is used to analyze the 15 problem the trolley bag occurs and act accordingly. In case the user is not available to give the command to the trolley bag. The trolley bag takes its own decision and sends its live location as a text message on the user’s phone.

The trolley bag is trained with predefined data, and this predefined data is used to recognize the user through different face recognition algorithm or edge detection algorithms. The detected face is compared with the trained data. Apart from user face detection AIM controls the trolley bag automatically by tracking the owner by avoiding obstacles in the way. 25
[0027] Referring to figure 1, represents the flow chart of working of the trolley bag, wherein the trolley bag waits for the user / person. The AIM installed in the trolley bag uses a face detection algorithm and edge detection algorithm to detect the user. After the user detection is complete, the trolley bag starts 30 following the user / person and wait for loading of luggage. The trolley bag starts to7follow the user’s path after the loading of luggage is complete. The trolley bag scrutinizes the surrounding images with an image processing module and gives the image processing result to the AIM to take a decision. The AIM help trolley bag to fallow the user path without the interface of any obstacles. After unloading the luggage the trolley bag automatically moves to its default location. 5
[0028] Referring to figure 2, represents the isometric view of the proposed trolley bag , wherein the series of LED 1 is attached to the trolley bag for providing light during night / low light condition. To detect the low light the trolley bag includes a series of LDR 3 which changes its resistance with a change in light 10 intensity. The plurality of cameras 4 attached to the trolley bag to detect the surrounding images. The trolley bag consists of an alert module which includes plurality of speakers 6 to alert the user. The speakers 6 are also used to play music on user commands. The plurality of tires 2 which are flex up tires 2 used to climb up / down the stair. The biometric sensor 5 is associated to the trolley bag to detect 15 the user.
[0029] The night vision module installed in the trolley bag consist of LEDs 1 and LDRs 3 to provide the sufficient light during the night. The LRD 3 is a light dependent resistor, whose resistance value changes with light intensity. 20 The LDR 3 can be used like a light sensor or no-light (dark) sensors. When the light beam falls on LDR 3, its resistance value decreases exponentially and conductivity of LDR 3 is increased. The LED 1 and LDR 3 are used in the parallel configuration.25
[0030] The LDR 3 resistance is increased during dark / no light condition and LDR 3 act as a high resistance device which does not allow the current to pass through it. The basic property of current is to passes through a low resistance path in the circuit. LED 1 provides the low resistant path to the current. The LEDs 1 are placed such that the light of LED 1 is focused on the path user is moving. 30 There is the complete isolation of LED 1 light with LRD 3 for better accuracy.8
[0031] The present trolley bag uses a detachable container to carry extra luggage. The trolley bag luggage carrying capacity is approximately 25-30 kg. In case the user need to carry extra luggage, the detachable container is attached to the trolley bag.5
[0032] The cover used in the trolley bag is water resistant to provide protection from rainwater. The trolley bag can easily follow the user on stairs with the flex up tires 2.

Claims
We Claim:1) A smart trolley bag, comprising:a frame assembly associated to said trolley bag ;a base sheet attached to said frame, wherein said base sheet is used for placing luggage in said bag;plurality of flex up tires 2 attached to said frame, wherein said flex up tire 2 enables easy movement of said bag up / down stairs;a sensor coupled to said base sheet for sensing weight of said luggage; plurality of camera 4 associated with said trolley bag for capturing images of an area in vicinity of said trolley bag; an image processing module interconnected with said trolley bag for scrutinizing said images; a voice recognition module installed in said trolley bag for interacting with a user carrying said bag; an alert module installed in said trolley bag for sending battery alert status to said user; an entertainment module installed in said trolley bag, wherein said entertainment module plays music on user command; a bluetooth module coupled to said trolley bag, wherein said bluetooth module connects multiple devices with said bag; a night vision module associated with said trolley bag, wherein said night vision module comprises plurality of light independent resistor (LDR) and plurality of light emitting diodes (LED) 1 for illuminating a path of motion of said bag by glowing said LED’s 1 and provide light during the night; and at least one transceiver module installed in said trolley bag for establishing communication between said trolley bag and said user.2) The trolley bag as claimed in claim 1, wherein said transceiver module comprises of a GSM module, plurality of receivers and plurality of transmitters.103) The trolley bag as claimed in claim 1, wherein said alert module includes audio alert, path alert, and an alert message about battery life is transmitted to user’s phone through said GSM module.4) The trolley bag as claimed in claim 1, wherein said audio alert is provided by speakers 6.5) The trolley bag as claimed in claim 1, wherein said sensor is preferably a strain gauge sensor for measuring weight.6) The trolley bag as claimed in claim 1, wherein said trolley bag is compatible with wired or wireless charging.7) The trolley bag as claimed in claim 1, wherein said trolley bag uses a DC motor for its power supply.
