Abstract

The present invention comprises a black body unit (1) that is fluidly connected with a chiller unit (2). Said chiller unit (2) is configured to store a liquid. Said liquid is heated or cooled to a desired temperature, providing a stable reference point for calibrating non-contact temperature sensors. An outer surface (6a) of front panel (6), an anti-condensation box (8) is fitted to dry nitrogen to prevent deposition of ice / moisture during calibration process. The black body assembly (5) includes a black body plate (12) and a ceramic heater (13). Said plate (12) integrated with a coolant circulation channel (19) for liquid flow to maintain a stable and uniform temperature. The ceramic heater (13) arrange on rear side of the plate (12) to heat by driving heat through controller unit (10) and maintain the temperature of the liquid at the desired set point 40°C to 100°C during calibration process.
