FIELD OF INVENTION
[0001] Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to the field of adaptive modularhousing structures, and more particularly, a temporary housing assembly for multi-functional spaces and a method thereof.BACKGROUND
[0002] The demand for adaptive, flexible, and modular housing solutions isincreasing, particularly in scenarios such as migrant construction laboraccommodations, where existing systems include PUF panel containers or corrugatedsheet structures. This demand is also prominent in situations like natural disasters,where rapid deployment of temporary housing is essential, and in cases where shops orcommercial spaces require portable and temporary structures. Currently, many of thesesetups use non-uniform components that are prone to weathering, made from non-biodegradable and environmentally harmful materials. Furthermore, the habitablespaces within these units are often irregular and lack standardization. The quality ofthe temporary accommodation is often poor, especially in terms of the materials usedfor assembly.
[0003] Hence, there is a need for a temporary housing assembly for multi-functional spaces and a method thereof which addresses the aforementioned issue(s).OBJECTIVES OF THE INVENTION
[0004] Primary objective of the invention is to provide a temporary housingassembly that can be reconfigured, extended, dismantled, transported, and re-assembled at various locations, designed for multi-functional spaces.
[0005] Another objective of the invention is to offer structural flexibility in thetemporary housing assembly, with three configurations: basic, extended, and groundplus one, accommodating different number of users, internal spaces, capacities, andvolumes.

[0007] In accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure, a temporaryhousing assembly for multi-functional spaces is provided. The temporary housingassembly includes a footing assembly including a plurality of pre-cast footings adaptedto provide a stable and adaptable foundation for a housing structure. The temporaryhousing assembly includes a plurality of structural chassis. The plurality of structuralchassis includes a plurality of prefabricated cruciform columns, a plurality of splayedbeams, a plurality of scissor bracings, and a plurality of lateral bracings. The pluralityof structural chassis is adapted to provide a structural framework for the housingstructure by interconnecting the plurality of prefabricated cruciform columns, theplurality of splayed beams, the plurality of scissor bracings, and the plurality of lateralbracings via bolted connections, thereby forming a reconfigurable, extendable,habitable, dismantlable, and transportable housing structure, adaptable for a pluralityof configurations and relocations. The method includes preparing a site by levelling ground for the temporaryhousing assembly. The method includes installing a footing assembly. The footingassembly includes a plurality of pre-cast footing adapted to provide a stable andadaptable foundation for a housing structure. The method includes assembling aplurality of structural chassis. The plurality of structural chassis includes a plurality ofprefabricated cruciform columns, a plurality of splayed beams, a plurality of scissorbracings, and a plurality of lateral bracings connected via bolted connections to providea structural framework for the housing structure, thereby forming a reconfigurable,extendable, habitable, dismantlable, and transportable housing structure, adaptable fora plurality of configurations and relocations. A temporary housing assembly (100) for multi-functional spaces comprising: a footing assembly comprising a plurality of pre-cast footing (105) adapted to provide a stable and adaptable foundation for a housing structure; a plurality of structural chassis comprising a plurality of prefabricated cruciform columns (110), a plurality of splayed beams (115), a plurality of scissor bracings (120), and a plurality of lateral bracings (125), wherein the plurality of structural chassis is adapted to provide a structural framework for the housing structure by interconnecting the plurality of prefabricated cruciform columns (110), the plurality of splayed beams (115), the plurality of scissor bracings (120), and the plurality of lateral bracings (125) via bolted connections, thereby forming a reconfigurable, extendable, habitable, dismantlable, and transportable housing structure, adaptable for a plurality of configurations and relocations; a flooring assembly comprising: a plurality of floor beams (130) bolted horizontally to the plurality of splayed beams (115) at a bottom level and a top level of the housing structure, wherein the plurality of floor beams (130) is adapted to provide a load-bearing base for the flooring assembly; a plurality of floorboard panels (135) positioned above the plurality of floor beams (130), wherein the plurality of floor panel is adapted to create a walking surface and accommodate storage underboards for added functionality, wherein the plurality of floorboard panels (135) is made of treated fiber cement boards with high-density fiberboard framing; a wall assembly bolted to the plurality of structural chassis at a ceiling level and a floor level, wherein the wall assembly comprises: a plurality of wall cassettes (145) equipped with shelving bars, wherein the plurality of wall cassettes (145) is adapted to create habitable enclosures within the housing structure; a plurality of window cassettes (150) adapted to allow natural light and ventilation; and a plurality of door cassettes (155) adapted to provide secure access to the housing structure; a supplementary accessories assembly comprising: a plurality of shading panels (140) with frames adapted to reduce exposure to sunlight for an interior space of the housing structure; and a demountable step assembly adapted to enable safe access to an elevated section of the housing structure; a roofing assembly comprising: a plurality of mosquito nets (160) adapted to protect an interior space from pests; a plurality of supporting roofing frames (165) adapted to form a roof structure, wherein at least one supporting roofing frame comprises louvres for ventilation; a rainwater gutter (170) positioned along the edges of the roof structure, wherein the rainwater gutter (170) is adapted to provide effective drainage; and a corrugated fiber cement sheet (175) attached to the roof structure, wherein the corrugated fiber cement sheet (175) is adapted to provide durability and weather resistance.
2. The temporary housing assembly (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plurality of configurations comprising a basic module, an extended module, and a ground plus one module.
3. The temporary housing assembly (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the housing structure is adapted for easy dismantling and transportation by one or more vehicles, thereby enabling relocation and reassembly of the temporary housing assembly (100) at one or more geographical locations.
4. The temporary housing assembly (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the roofing assembly is adapted to support the installation of a plurality of solar panels for providing renewable energy.
5. The temporary housing assembly (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein an assembling procedure of the temporary housing assembly (100) uses a mobile jib crane.
6. The temporary housing assembly (100) as claimed in claim 1, comprising a woven cane adapted to provide natural shading and aesthetic appeal for an exterior and interior of the housing structure.
7. The temporary housing assembly (100) as claimed in claim 1, comprising a wooden plyboard adapted to function as shelving.

A method (400) for assembling a temporary housing assembly for multi-functional spaces, comprising: preparing a site by levelling ground for the temporary housing assembly; (405) installing a footing assembly, wherein the footing assembly comprises a plurality of pre-cast footing adapted to provide a stable and adaptable foundation for a housing structure; (410) assembling, a plurality of structural chassis, wherein the plurality of structural chassis comprising a plurality of prefabricated cruciform columns, a plurality of splayed beams, a plurality of scissor bracings, and a plurality of lateral bracings connected via bolted connections to provide a structural framework for the housing structure, thereby forming a reconfigurable, extendable, habitable, dismantlable, and transportable housing structure, adaptable for a plurality of configurations and relocations; (415) installing a plurality of floor beams horizontally to the plurality of splayed beams at a bottom level and a top level of the housing structure, wherein the plurality of floor beams is adapted to provide a load-bearing base for the flooring assembly; (420) positioning a plurality of floorboard panels above the plurality of floor beams to create a walking surface and accommodate storage underboards for added functionality, wherein the plurality of floorboard panels are treated with fiber cement panels; (425) bolting a wall assembly to the plurality of structural chassis at a ceiling level and a floor level; (430) installing a plurality of wall cassettes equipped with shelving bars to create habitable enclosures; (435) installing a plurality of window cassettes to allow natural light and ventilation; (440) installing a plurality of door cassettes to provide secure access to the housing structure; (445) attaching a plurality of shading panels with frames to reduce exposure to sunlight for an interior space of the housing structure; (450) positioning a demountable step assembly to enable safe access to an elevated section of the housing structure; (455) installing a plurality of supporting roofing frames to form a roof structure, wherein at least one supporting roofing frame comprises louvres for ventilation; (460) attaching a plurality of mosquito nets to protect the interior space from pests; (465) installing a rainwater gutter along a roof edge to provide effective drainage; and (470) covering the roof structure with a corrugated fiber cement sheet to the roof structure to provide durability and weather resistance.
