Abstract
The need for microwave absorbers and radar absorbers is increasing in both military and civilian applications. Weight reduction and improved operational bandwidth are critical considerations in the design of these devices. An absorber composite that utilizes nanoparticles of oxides within a polymer matrix offers significant flexibility in design and properties. The compound can be adjusted via changes in impurities. γ-Fe2O3@C and Ni / OMC oxide nanoparticles (such as and a matrix (ZnO and iron oxide C@Ni-NiO andEmbossing (paraffin and epoxy resin). A nano-polymer composite was prepared at a weight ratio of 6%, and an aluminum sheet was coated with this material. Tests showed that the composite absorbed more than 98% of microwave radiation, compared to 94% in a previous model. This efficient microwave absorption is attributed to suitable impedance, continuous scattering, and interpolarization that attenuates the radiation.
