Abstract

Active humic acids are completely soluble in water, so the possibility of humic acid fertilizers being washed out and not being used by the target plants is high. In the invention, an attempt has been made to eliminate this very effective defect in the efficiency of humic acid fertilizers and increase their efficiency. The materials used in the fertilizer are 100% environmentally friendly and biodegradable by soil microbes.

Description

Description of the invention Note: Items must be written only inside [], otherwise they will not be reviewed. Title of the invention (as stated in the declaration) "Enhanced humic acid fertilizer with polymer compositions" Humic Acid Fertilizer Enhanced with Polymer Compounds The technical background of Astronomy Agriculture, soil fertility and plant nutrition The technical problem of the invention's objectives In many parts of the world, calcareous soils represent a major limitation to nutrient availability. Calcareous soils cover 30% of the earth's surface. They are commonly found in Mediterranean areas and are common in arid and semi-arid regions. These soils are usually high in calcium carbonate, which affects physical and chemical properties and, consequently, plant growth. In addition, calcium carbonate is a serious problem for plant nutrition because it affects soil pH. High pH reduces the solubility of the trace elements iron, zinc and manganese, and these elements are more likely to be found as sediments. Most calcareous soils are located in warm regions and are naturally poor in organic matter. Given that humic substances are the main component of soil organic matter, these substances can improve plant growth and nutrient uptake. The soils of the arid and semi-arid regions of our country, which constitute more than eighty percent of agricultural land, are often calcareous and poor in organic matter. Adding organic matter to agricultural soils is essential to improve their fertility and soil quality. However, the limited traditional sources of organic matter such as animal manure do not meet the increasing need of the agricultural sector for organic fertilizer. Considering that most calcareous soils in Iran are used for agriculture, this condition has created a major limitation for the provision of nutrients. Finding an environmentally friendly method to increase the quantity and quality of the product in these soils is the goal of many researchers. On the other hand, all soluble substances, including fertilizers, whether mineral or organic, can be leached. One of the main factors determining the leaching rate of fertilizers is their solubility. The more soluble the fertilizer, the greater the likelihood of it being leached and removed from the root biological activity zone. If fertilizers are leached at a slow rate, there is more opportunity for plants to absorb and use them. On the contrary, increasing the leaching rate of fertilizer reduces its usability by the plant and increases the risk of leaching and possible contamination of groundwater. Since fertilizers containing active humic acid are completely soluble in water, the likelihood of leaching of humic acid fertilizers and their non-use by target plants is high.In the inventive example, an attempt has been made to eliminate this very significant defect in the efficiency of humic acid fertilizers and to increase their efficiency. Enhanced humic acid fertilizer is made with the following objectives: 1- Unique technology used in extracted humic acid with the aim of increasing the organic matter in it to about two to three times the amount of common fertilizers on the market, taking into account the fact that our country's soils are poor in organic matter. Enhanced humic acid fertilizer provides a gradual release of the active ingredient over time, depending on soil conditions and microbial activity, and also reduces fertilizer leaching under natural conditions. Description of the state of the art and history of advances related to the invention of the common law. Soil organic matter forms humic and non-humic substances. Non-humic substances mostly include sugar compounds, amino acids, fats, etc. Next, soil organic matter is humic substances. Usually, humic substances are brown or gray molecular weight substances formed by secondary synthesis reactions. For the formation of humus, it is necessary to carry out interactions between phenols, quinones and polyolefins and amino acids. Thus, the formation of humus is possible due to the polymerization and synthesis of the aforementioned substances, along with their enzymatic hydrolysis and the decomposition of the side chains of amino acids. The benefits of soil humus include containing almost all the elements needed by plants, its positive effect on improving and modifying the soil, and its compatibility with the environment. Humus is composed of three parts: humic acid, fulvic acid, and humin. Humic acid is the main part of soil organic matter and a vital factor for maintaining soil fertility and plant growth. Humic acid is a weak organic acid that, in addition to the main factors (carboxyl, benzoic, and phenolic groups), also has side factors such as methoxy, amino, sulfonic, and alcoholic.Cation exchange capacity is one of the important properties of humic acid, the amount of which varies from one soil to another. In addition to agriculture, this substance has many uses in the fields of industry, medicine, veterinary medicine, etc. Humic acid is able to form stable compounds with more than 50 elements. Humic substances are the main and important part of natural organic matter in the soil. It is believed that the concentration of humic acid in one gram of soil in its natural state is less than 1-mg L10, but this amount has a special role in metal species and their transport, absorption and excretion, which is of great environmental importance. With their presence in the soil environment as macromolecules in the colloidal phase, the situation of metals becomes more complicated. Since a chemical bond is formed between the cation to be exchanged and the functional group of humic acid, the rate of formation and dissociation of this bond limits the overall rate of exchange and follows the usual laws of chemical kinetics. It is clear that the rate of such chemical reactions is independent of the factors affecting diffusion. This acid is able to buffer the soil over a wide range of pH changes. The presence of soil-fertilizing elements such as nitrogen and phosphorus makes this acid known as a geochemical fertility factor. Soil with a high content of humic acid is a guarantee for reducing excessive soil salinization in the use of salt water, fertilizers and minerals. Humic acid is able to reduce the amount of salt as well as its toxicity. Young plants, especially seedlings and germinating seeds, are sensitive to high levels of ammonia in their growth area. Which may cause their death. Humic acid reduces the toxicity of fertilizers containing ammonia. In general, humic acid reduces root burn. Because the amount of salt in the soil is reduced after fertilization with humic acid. Humic acid is also effective in soil erosion by increasing the ability of soil colloids to form bonds and improving the growth of the root system. In the field of environmental health, the extraction of humic acid from water sources used for drinking is very important. Because the combination of humic acid with chlorine in water causes the formation of a carcinogenic substance called trihalomethane. The amount of extracted humic acid depends on the type of extractant, extraction time, extraction conditions, and the type of initial organic substrate (source of humic acid extraction). In general, humic substances affect plant growth in two ways: directly and indirectly. The indirect effect includes improving soil properties including aeration, accumulation, permeability, water retention capacity, solubility, and availability of trace elements including Fe, Mn, Zn, and some trace elements such as K, Ca, and P. The direct effect is the absorption and transport of nutrients to plant tissues and, as a result, various biochemical effects such as protein synthesis, photosynthesis, and enzyme activities in plant tissues.
