Abstract
Description
Description of the invention Title of the invention Portable, integrated home liquid concentrator and essential oil extractor Technical background of the relevant invention Home appliance, industrial kitchen and laboratory equipment industries Technical problem and statement of invention objectives In the past, the preparation of homemade food such as semolina, various types of paste, jam and lavash, blackcurrants, etc. was done by hand and hand tools or by existing stirring devices with high energy consumption. The accuracy and speed of this work depended on the skill of the cook and his experience, and the amount of heat energy wasted in this process was high, whether manually or by stirring devices. In previous methods, the cooking process was done by hand, which was due to the bottoming, burning, blackening and bitterness during cooking caused by the operator (cook) fatigue when using the stirring device for the boiling liquid, as well as the long process and the very high energy waste due to the boiling system's reliance on overcoming the atmospheric pressure of the boiling liquid system, and ultimately the loss of a large part of the nutritional value of the products. The same problems also existed in the case of preparing essential oils using traditional methods from aromatic materials, and of course, a device that performs both the concentration and preparation of essential oils with the priority of concentration was not available for home use. However, by using a portable home-made liquid concentrator and integrated essential oil extractor, the boiling point of the liquids is lowered due to the negative pressure applied to the tank of the device. Even when heat is used to accelerate the process, this heat is used to speed up and boil more liquid, but the temperature inside the tank will not exceed the boiling point depending on the applied pressure. As a result, the liquid does not overheat or burn, does not settle, does not become bitter, and does not need to be stirred. Finally, the resulting steam, which contains the essential oil, is directed out of the system through the exhaust of the pressure-reducing pump and is collected and cooled (distilled) by a jar-shaped piece installed at the outlet, and can be used as essential oil or distillate of that liquid. A description of the state of the prior art and the history of developments related to the claimed invention. Initially, the concentration work was done by hand, in such a way that the pot containing the liquids was placed on the heat and the cook was careful not to cause the heat to stick, burn, etc. to the materials inside the pot while stirring. Another problem was the lack of precise control of the pot temperature on the heat flame by the cook, and it was done completely based on his experience. In addition, the height of the place and the atmospheric pressure were very effective in doing the work. Although the stirring devices were responsible for the stirring action, the cook's supervision of the pot on the flame was not ruled out. Regarding the work of extracting essential oils, the container containing the liquid was placed on the flame and, based on the increase in pressure inside the sealable container, the vapor containing the essential oil was sent out of the system. In this regard, because the pressure of the tank is higher than atmospheric (normal) pressure, the distillation and cooling of the vapor containing the essential oil becomes somewhat more difficult due to the need to use a condenser.Regarding the extraction of essential oils from plants, especially medicinal plants, some measures have been taken, such as: Patent No. 100300 dated 11 / 21 / 2019, the result of the work of Mr. Seyed Milad Salehi and Mrs. Elham Babadi, entitled "Agitator-type essential oil extraction device for medicinal plants"; Patent No. 389080877 dated 11 / 18 / 2019, the result of the ingenuity of Mrs. Mahdieh Nazmabadi, entitled "Home-made essential oil extraction device for medicinal plants", in which the cooling condenser has been modified; Patent No. 96737 dated 6 / 26 / 2019, the result of the work of Mr. Amir Hossein Ghasemi and Hesam Ramezanzadeh, entitled "A thermoelectric essential oil extraction device with an integrated boiler and condenser set", and similar measures taken. These are just a handful of the many registered innovations related to the extraction and preparation of essential oils industry, which show the focus of respected innovators on this important industry. But the preparation of essential oil is a side effect of the portable home concentrator and essential oil extraction device as a home appliance, and the simplicity of this device, both in terms of construction and production and in terms of cost, as well as its use, is an important priority for the user and operator, so that a young or elderly user can easily use the device without special training, and even its secondary function can be ignored because the main and primary function of this device is to concentrate liquids, which has been described in the above lines. Providing a solution to an existing technical problem along with an accurate, sufficient, and integrated description of the invention In the process of concentration, the main waste of energy, fuel and time occurs when liquid molecules overcome atmospheric pressure; as the atmospheric pressure increases, which mainly results from the decrease in altitude, the boiling point of the liquid also increases, and in turn, the concentration process becomes more difficult; the innovation of the present invention is to provide a new solution for producing a liquid concentration device that, with minimal use of materials during construction and production, increases efficiency in terms of reducing energy and fuel consumption, reducing construction time, reducing depreciation, both mechanical and corrosion, reducing the cost and ease of use as a household appliance, without the need for manual intervention when operating the device, along with reducing the time in producing the product, which also has the ability to prepare essential oils and extracts from that liquid, which are resolved as follows: 1- A metal tank resistant to negative pressure and corrosion for collecting and storing liquids. 2- A metal, plastic or other material skeleton that does not deform against the force resulting from the weight of the pressure reducing pump, which is covered with a desired sheet, and this piece is the place where the pump is installed and other peripheral equipment such as panels, electronic or mechanical control and monitoring systems are located on its body. 3- A pressure reducing pump that is connected to section (1) through a pressure-resistant pipe or hose or corrosion-resistant pipe, ultimately leading to a reduction in pressure in the fluid system, and ultimately the liquids reach their boiling point at a lower temperature. 4- Pressure gauge (indicator), this part is directly connected to the tank and can be installed in part (2) and operate independently without installation. 5- An essential oil collector that can be installed in the outlet (exhaust) of part (3) and is air-cooled or water-cooled, and can be separated if there is no need to prepare the extract.
