DESCRIPTION OF THE MODEL BY TITLE: Luminous handle. NAME: Alessandra Fulceri, resident in v. lungo le mura del mandorlo, 2 Volterra (Pi) SUMMARY: Luminous handle with transparent grip covered with flexible plasticized PVC tube with various types of grid. DESCRIPTION: The soft grip illuminated handle project is composed, in the preferred realized form, of: a transparent plexiglass rod with a circular cross-section (Table 1- G), which houses one or more LEDs (Table 1- F), covered with a transparent flexible tube made of plasticized PVC, with a polyester yarn mesh or steel spiral or other types (Table 1- H); two satin-finish steel terminal rosettes are screwed into the two ends (Table 1- E). The one in contact with the door is drilled to allow the passage of the cables and is welded to a rectangular support (Table 2- R). This support is shaped to allow it to fit into the square post (Table 2- S) for connection to the handle on the other side of the door and is drilled to allow the passage of the power cables for the LED light. The handle is supplied with: a special electrical induction transformation system (Table 1- M), a set of rechargeable button batteries (Table 1- L), a key-controlled switch or commutator (Table 1- N), a solenoid or battery charger winding (Table 1-P). This system can be inserted between the lock and the door. The second solenoid (Table 1-0) and the transformer for switching the current from high to low voltage (220V - 3V) are located in the fixed frame. The small transformer can be hidden inside a common box with service sockets, which are normally mounted near the doors for easy inspection. It is also possible to power everything with rechargeable batteries. The position of the entire electrical system can be moved to where it is most convenient to mount, even on the opposite side of the door, but it is important that the two solenoids are close together. An induction system is one of the systems that can be used to turn on the handle; for example, a sliding contact system can be used, in which the two solenoids are replaced with metal tabs. The LED, or diode, is the preferred type of bulb, but the tiny neon bulbs from synoptics, used for car dashboards, or the pin bulbs with normal filament, used for flashlights, or other models can also be used. Brightness, transparency and softness are characteristics never combined together for the creation of handles. This object, thus composed, no longer serves only the traditional function of opening or closing, but is also particularly useful as a light signal to indicate the presence of doors; in fact, locating the door and handle can sometimes be difficult, especially in new, dimly lit environments where the openings are not very visible, or in cases where the doors are camouflaged by walls. In the absence of light, getting from one room to another can be a challenge: locating the door, looking for a light switch, grasping the handle, and sometimes even failing to open the door at the first attempt due to the unusual shape of the handle itself. The illuminated handle makes everything simpler and more immediate. When the door is closed, the handle lights up. When the key is turned, the LED emits a different color beam. When the door is open, as there is no contact between the two solenoids, the handle turns off. Imagine having to walk down a completely dark corridor, lined with many doors with illuminated handles: the path is much more immediate; subconsciously, before turning on the light, we will have already memorized the position of the doors. With this system, you can also send signals by playing with the color of the light. For example: in the doors of public restrooms: green light free - red light occupied; in offices to indicate a meeting in progress: red light do not disturb - neutral light you can enter; in hotels to indicate the presence of guests in the rooms: red light do not disturb - neutral light you can enter, for example facilitating cleaning; in apartments to locate the doors. A single LED can take on multiple colors and even light up at intervals; the choice depends on the buyer's needs. The use of light is particularly useful in panic exit devices, to signal more emergency exits. If multiple handles are used in a single room, turning them on or off can be controlled from the main electrical panel, with a special switch. Furthermore, the grip of traditional handles is typically made of rigid, heavy, and cold materials, making them uninviting to hold. The plasticized PVC coating, on the other hand, makes the handle soft and warm, providing a pleasant feel. Furthermore, the mesh inside the tube increases strength and sturdiness, as well as making the handle elegant, decorative, and transparent. This material is currently produced and used for the passage of compressed air and food liquids, acids and alcoholic beverages, with operating temperatures ranging from -10°C to +60°C which, in addition to ensuring its durability, also allow its use in outdoor environments. The object thus composed is remarkably flexible in its daily functions. For further details, please refer to the attached technical documents, which illustrate an embodiment of the invention by way of example and not limitation. CLAIMS: R 2 0 0 Z. U 000008 1 - Handle for doors or shutters in general, characterised by a light source, designed to illuminate when the relative door or shutter is closed. 2 - Handle according to claim 1, whose light source is a LED, or metal halide lamp, or other type of mini bulb. 3 - Handle according to the previous claim, suitable for sending messages with the colour of the light emitted or by switching on at intervals. 4 - Handle with illuminated grip, characterised by the change in colour of the light as the key moves inside the lock by means of a special switch. 5 - Handle according to any of the preceding claims, of which an induction circuit, a sliding contact circuit, or any other system is provided for the power supply of the light source. 6 - Handle with transparent and soft grip, made such by the use of plasticized PVC tubing. 7 - Handle according to the previous claim, made decorated and elegant thanks to the lattice found inside the tube. 8 - Panic handle or bar, in which the use of one or more light points inside serves to further highlight the emergency exits. 9 - Illuminated handle as described above and substantially illustrated by the drawings annexes.
